Looks like a great project. So to be clear they are offering a FT therapist position-1.0 FTE-to be paid $37,789 for an annual salary? Or is there something I am missing?
Good question! RCCMHC has polled local agencies and found that a therapist wages plus benefits is probably close to $90,000/annually but we assume that insurance covers part of that cost. We are hoping that our funding can cover hours that are not typically billable to insurance. Also- this grant will cover November 01, 2024 to June 30, 2025 so it is only 34 weeks (not 52 weeks.)

So, this is essentially the SLMH RFP?
This is an offshoot of the School Linked Mental Health Grant. School Linked Mental Health (SLMH) is the broader term which also includes School Based Mental Health (SBMH) and refers to services that connect or co-locate effective mental health services with schools at the local level. SLMH Therapy + Collaborative Supports is a new initiative to support youth struggling with emotions/behaviors who would benefit from a “whole family” care team approach. Our focus is on families with complex needs or multi-system involvement, families experiencing barriers to service, underserved, under-supported and marginalized families

We are thinking of applying for this grant. Are for profit agencies in Minneapolis eligible? ?
