Upcoming Programs
- Nov 19, 2024, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PMZoomWe'll dig deeper into understanding ADHD, neurodiversity, coexisting diagnoses, behavior strategies, and how to parent when you have ADHD too! We'll also share some holistic options to support youth with ADHD. 2 adults per family can get free CALM toolkit supplies.

- Nov 25, 2024, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PMZoom(Ages 6-11) We'll use the the book, The Thinking Traps: A Team of Troublesome Thoughts and other fun activities to identify troublesome thoughts, learn coping skills, use CALM tools to process thoughts, and get through traps! Each child gets to choose free supplies for their CALM Toolkit.
- Dec 09, 2024, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PMZoom(Ages 6-11) This is our annual Chill Out program. We will play games, do an art activity, read a story and practice chill out strategies such as: warm fuzzies, blow away mad feelings, and "freeze, squeeze, and breathe." Each child gets to choose free supplies for their CALM Toolkit.
- Jan 28, 2025, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PMZoomA local nutritionist will teach us about foods that improve and balance mood and how we can prepare healthy meals and snacks on a budget. We'll also talk about picky eaters/ sensory challenges. 2 adults per family can get free CALM toolkit supplies or cooking supplies. Stay tuned for more details.

- Feb 17, 2025, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PMZoom(Ages 12+) We'll practice assertive communication, how to talk to others about your feelings, how to ask for what you need, setting healthy boundaries, talking about mental health, and how to manage uncomfortable conversations . Each teen gets to choose free supplies for their CALM Toolkit.
- Mar 11, 2025, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PMZoomRamsey County Crisis will join us to review the difference between a mental health crisis and an emergency and how to manage each of these. We'll practice strategies to manage aggression and agitation and discuss when/how to get help. Two adult caregivers per family can receive a $20 gift card.
